Street Yoga
About
Street Yoga is a non-profit organization that teaches yoga, mindful breathing, and compassionate communication to youth and their caregivers struggling with the challenges of homelessness.
The website features a vast library of Yoga Research, Press and Media articles, as well as a community of teachers, board directors and volunteers. Street Yoga hired their first Development Associate in 2010, and I was invited to join the team in order to develop fund-raising, spread awareness, and manage communications. I have been blessed to execute SEO friendly initiatives, blending social media with user experience design to facilitate growth. I contribute graphic design, photography, and front end development. This is to date the most expansive and motivating organization I have ever been a part of, and its development continues even today.
